Nanjil Catholic College established the Undergraduate Commerce Department in the year 2012, since the inception of the college. The Department is enriched by 4Assistant Professors. Faculty members of the department are recognized as research guides and also presenting research papers at National, International Conferences and publishing articles in referred journals regularly. They have also authored books in the commerce discipline.

The students have added prestige and honour to the department by securing university ranks. The course intends to provide a foundation for students who plan to pursue their career in business, commerce, accounting etc. It equips the students to join the corporate world immediately after the sound foundation for those who wish to pursue their higher studies in the field of Management, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship, Cost Accounting, Law, etc.

The department of commerce strives to equip students with multi-dimensional talents to face the competitive world in the future. We also encourage the students to organize events such as National Seminars, Inter-college, inter-departmental meets and participate in the events that were organized by other colleges and they were also encouraged to involve in the activities of social importance.
