The Department of Psychology is one of the emerging and vibrant academic units of the College, established in 2025 with a vision to promote excellence in psychological education, research, and practice. The M.Sc. Psychology programme, introduced in the same year, is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in theory along with practical and professional skills.
The Department currently has a team of three qualified and dedicated faculty members who are committed to academic excellence, research, and student mentoring. Their expertise ensures a holistic learning experience that integrates classroom teaching with real-world application.
The Department is equipped with well-established laboratories for psychological testing, counseling practice, and research activities. Smart classrooms and internet-enabled facilities support modern teaching methods and enhance student learning.
